The classic still life painting is a staple of the artists repertoire. It is also a perfect way to hone your skills of casting light, representing shadow and using values to create volume. In this full day painting class Kim Atlin will help you refine your approach to painting table top still life arrangements. The morning will be spent doing short studies of various subjects and then in the afternoon you will lean in to a larger work on canvas. This intimate masterclass will help practicing artists hone their skills or introduce aspiring painters to the art of winter landscape painting.
